How big are the paintings?
As each painting is different, refer to the dimensions listed on each product page (height x width in inches) as well as the painting rollover to demonstrate the scale. Dimensions range from very large (eg. 90x64), to medium (eg. 40x32), to small (eg. 13x14).

Are the paintings on paper or canvas?
Markfield works on both paper and canvas (and occasionally other things). On each product page the substrate material is listed along with the media.

Are the paintings framed?
If a painting is currently framed, it will be noted as such on the product page.

What does "matting suggested" mean?
Matting is the cardboard frame that sits within the wood or metal picture frame to create another level of dimension, interest, color, or focus. On the product page, Markfield has noted which paintings would look great with a mat, if framed.

How do I inquire about getting a frame?

Can I see the artwork in person?
Yes! If you are in the Southern California area, she is happy to meet with you for a presentation of new work at your location. You may also visit Markfield's Los Angeles-area studio to view many of the pieces in person.

How are the paintings shipped?
Depending on the work of art, paintings are shipped flat or rolled. All shipments are trackable, well-protected, and insured.

Is shipping included?
Yes, shipping is included within the Continental United States and Canada within 48 hours of purchase, unless otherwise notified. Contact for international shipping

Are the artworks original?
All artworks are originals and the surfaces will contain natural imperfections and glorious idiosyncrasies.
